Dr. Clawson is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, specializing in cervical and lumbar disc arthroplasty (joint replacement) of the spine; specifically trained in the use of minimally invasive techniques. He completed a spine fellowship at the renowned Texas Back Institute in Dallas, following a 5-year orthopedic residency at the University of Minnesota, and 4 years medical school at The Medical College of Wisconsin. Earning both an MBA and an M.D., Dr. Clawson is a diplomate of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the North American Spine Society. He has been a spine surgeon at The Spine Institute since 2003, where he excels in ethical patient care. He lives in Salt Lake City with his wife.
